An exception among black tomatoes, which nearly all come from the Crimean Peninsula in Ukraine, this variety was developed from a natural occurrence in 2003 in Tennessee.

 

Flavor: intense flavor with an almost raspberry-like richness.

 

Recipe idea:  Cook at low temp on a pan with olive oil, garlic and thyme until they get a soft texture to make a perfect companion to fried eggs and meats.
